At the end of 2016 I moved from Brighton UK to New Zealand. I love working with clients on their projects, whether it's side-by-side or using the right technology and tools for remote collaboration.
From 2010–2016 I was the Design and UX Lead for a market-leading software company called Madgex in Brighton. Madgex is literally (they have won many awards for it) an amazing place to work. During my time here I enjoyed working with a talented team of great people that are extremely committed, loyal and love what they do. The software is used by over 500 brands, in multiple languages by clients in 14 countries. It is relied upon by publishers and recruitment businesses including The Guardian, Washington Post, FT.com and Manpower.
In 2007, after a couple of years working and learning from some brilliant Dutch Graphic Designers at the Amsterdam based design agency Solar Initiative, I co-found Hexaplex. Studio Hexaplex was a design studio I ran together with Micha Bakker. Together we explored the emerging field of web design and user experience. We worked closely with our clients in a vibrant international network, resulting in new forms of bespoke web design. Clients and collaborations included: STBY: Design Research for Service Innovation, NS/Dutch National Rail, The Royal Palace Amsterdam, Telefonica, & Dutch Design Week.
